Building a Learning Lodge in K-8 classrooms

November 13, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

This first workshop will introduce a framework from which educators can create a classroom ‘learning community’ that incorporates: Indigenous worldviews; teachings; and values. Resources, hands-on and concrete tools will be shared with participants to help you get started on building a learning lodge in your classroom; a place where all students feel connected and treat each other with respect and kindness. Learn what that learning lodge looks like, sounds like and feels like in a balanced and inclusive classroom.
